As ever, so inspirational.......I can't go to bed now as too many ideas are crossing my mind. You always wear amazing necklaces, love them.

I loved that episode. I wish there was a shop like that local in my area that offers a welcomed deviation from the high street home improvement stores. You always hit the nail on the head Mary. x

That was an absolutely wonderful programme. Simply sensational. Beautifully filmed, edited and paced. Good music. And an amazing journey to witness.

When you arrived, I despaired. Never seen such a huge amount of tacky tat under one roof, and I did not think it would have been possible to turn the shop or it's owners round.

But turn them round you did. The couple seemed a complete lost cause, but then you got to work and they started to shine. To my utter amazement, I found myself thinking Dazzle was an amazing man. Open, interested, prepared to learn and, extraordinarily, completely inspirational. Then Dennie too.

To cap it all you even managed to chase off Dominic. His dead energy was revolting. And that dressing gown had to go with him.

And finally the shop - wow. A transformation. The Sunday Times journalist can now eat her words, because that turnaround looked 100% sustainable. The couple had the energy of 20 year olds again, and their enthusiasm shone.

Best programme yet, in my humble opinion, and that is saying something.

Oh Mary.What can I say. I am growing my own luxury lingerie brand and working all the hours god sends. I get soo excited for Monday nights waiting to see what your magic will do for the small business' of this country. I did actually feel sick looking at some of the bits and bobs in the shop prior to the turnaround but I could also see how it had evolved. Your direct and very honest way of talking to folks is truly inspirational..and I just love everytime how you bring the best out in each individual playing to theri strengths! The store looked fabulous..loved the branding of 37!!!Fab fab fab!!

The way you step back and trust them to deliver is breath taking!!

Every week I get so emotional as you see the people come to life and light up!! The energy between the pairby the end was fab...

by the way.. I was cringing when the son wore that scraggy dressing gown to go into Elle Decor.....

oh my god..Kingstons answer to Hugh Hefner.Not!!Lol.

all in all a wonderful show and it was fab to see Denny and Dazzles talents put to use!!

I loved the new shopfront you created, especially the bespoke blinds in the window - it has inspired me to think about freshing up my own shopfront!  We are not far from Kingston so will pop over to 37 Old London Road very soon. 

I was really interested in your comments about people opening a second business when another doesn't pay!!

I run a successful MLM business and it amazes me the number of people who think they will be more successful if they sell, books for one company, cards for another and hand cream for someone else!!!

Total lack of focus!

A blue house??  What lunatics! At least they're not a resistant as some of your clients. Your hilarious to watch Mary and your energy when dealing with these clients is inspiring.   I'm in my 2nd year of business and its tough but watching you fight for their success, gives me the inspiration and passion to to push harder for my own business.  Thanks Mary Porta's.

I have to say that I really enjoyed the Dennie & Dazzle story that was aired last night. I have to say half way through that you were not going to be able to make them see how wrong and those perfume bottles were!!! its a very difficult thing to take someone out of their comfort zone and show them the future, but I have to say that you once again that you did it. You are in a way similar to Simon Cowell, people may not like what you have to say, but 10 times out of 10 you are right!! I love your passion and what you instill in people and the belief that you can suceeed against the BIG Companies that take over our high streets. Credit where Credit is due, we need more people like you in this world and I for one think you are amazing... I hope people can learn from what you protray on our screens and use this to bring to their own companies in these difficult times.

Quite simply put.... my favourite episode yet. I couldn't help but laugh when you briefly renamed the shop "utter shite". I guess with most feelings pride plays a big part. Was so refreshing to see a business really take on board your ideas and maximise their talents at the same time,
