I am surprised at some of the comments on this site, I always get very good service from my local b&q in Peterhead.. Keep doing a good job always helpful.
We made the mistake of ordering two toilets from B&Q which they confirmed at the time were in stock so we will get them in a week. A week later they said it can be confirmed 2 months later! It has taken 15 phone call (under estimating) to get them to refund them back! They used every excuse when we called back “the phone number was wrong”, “it was engaged” ” the call wasn’t getting through”. Everyone I spoke to in customer service was rude and unprofessional. NEVER advise anyone to shop there!
St.helens. never experienced a problem, helpful staff and well laid out logical store (much prefer it to Warrington branch). Only gripe is that (all B&Q stores) really need to sort out self service till, many products require authorisation from staff resulting in delays, queues and disgruntled customers
poor service, no innovation, not even that cheap anymore. No excitement.
