They are absolutely first class – the call centre people in Liverpool are just lovely, helpful and friendly.
Over many years of shopping with them I have had very few problems and they have been sorted instantly and with charm.
They have a second to none returns policy too !
Great customer service and no quibble returns policy. Extortionate p+p charges however!
Excellent customer service, no quibble money back garantee, buy online sercurely
Extremely poor customer service. The courier ‘loses’ my parcel (not for the first time it has to be said). A Birthday beauty gift goes astray and QVC don’t seem too bothered in telling my why. I receive a declaration form to fill in, but still keen to know where my parcel is I question it via email. 10 days later, silence, so I am forced to chase it up. Still nothing much to go on. I call and I’m offered a refund. No parcel, no stock to reorder from, no help whatsover.
QVC P&P is ridiculous, it puts me right off because they actually do sell some good quality items. like the previous comment they don’t combine the shipment..buyers always look at P&P
Delivery is not what the claim.10 days now waiting for an order,I had goods faster from America.
Not really a review of QVC, more a review of some of the comments on here complaining about the restrictions on the 30 day back guarantee. What on earth do you expect? Of course a shopping channel will not honour serial returners. Viewers will simply use QVC as a free lending service. If someone keeps ordering stuff and returning it – repeatedly – either they are making poor shopping choices or they are on a racket trying to rip of QVC. What else can it be?
Disappointing rubbish most of it. The clothes are ghastly – horrid garish prints and awful styles. The only thing worth buying are high street names like L’occitane or Lily O Brien chocolates. Some of the cookware is OK too. I expect you can buy the same stuff elsewhere for a lot better price. The PP is also ridiculously high. How can you justify £7 pp for a flimsy scarf?
Been shopping with QVC for at least 12 years, I cannot fault them at all.Customer service is second to none, any problems with any item I have purchased even if used I know I can send the item back without any come back. Also you have your 30 day money back guarantee even if you have used an item or worn something. Where would you get that sort of guarantee? Know where that I know of.So for me I like the fact that I can compare their prices with those of the High Street and know that QVC is great
I’ve been a qvc customer since day 1 and I cannot fault it, Their service is good I mainly buy craft and nail bits but really I miss Molton Brown . The customer service dept are always polite and helpful. Yes the p&p can be expensive but it’s an awful lot cheaper than a bus into town. in
Outstanding customer service, even on one occasion the product (silicone cookware) had been in my possession for over 6months and developed a problem and I no longer had the receipt. The morning after my phone call a courier arrived to collect the item in question and a prompt refund was given. Quality of the products is generally very good – have rarely needed to return items. Would most definitely recommend QVC.
I have used QVC a few times and I am less than impressed. Twice now i’ve had item’s that just don’t arrive. I have to re-order the item (if i want it any time soon and if it’s still in stock that is) and complete a permission slip for and investigation to commence.
I’ve commented about the fact that they send 3 small items, that were ordered together, out separately in 3 packages and how it was an ‘odd’ procedure. Their response was ‘that just the way we do it’ – not the best really.
it really used to be good but boy do they know how to charge now.£260 for a lulu guiness purse!!!
They harp on about their returns policy but if the item is faulty and then send you a free returns sticker you can guarantee they will not receive the goods in their warehouse! That is why I always ask for a receipt – and that it why they then find the item!
I have been with QVC for years, and love the fact that you can return products even if you have used them (esp beauty). I have been ill and had very sensitive skin as a result. I would have wasted a lot of money if I had bought off the high street. Customer service has been good and delivery very quick apart from during the severe snow we had last year.P&P is high but I like the fact that I don’t have to input my card details each time-instead I have a membership/pin number so it’s more secure.
I have been a QVC shopper for 11 years I buy fashion, cosmetics and skin care mainly. I tend to be a repeat purchaser of certain brands as the value is good. However, recently I have noticed that the p&p is getting very expensive for the actual items and the packaging can be stupidly large for a small item. Also, I don’t tend to watch many shows live any more as I tire of the same comments and tired format. I also feel the fashion is intended to be bought by age group 35+ but is dated and dull.
Been a shopper with QVC for a number of years, Great choice of products, beauty at fantastic prices and very good customer service.
Just wanted to pass comment on the fashion on QVC. Why is it that they sell fashion for ‘real’ women yet all their models are very tall and slim making even the cheapest tat they sell look half decent?
4 stars because of high P&P and return charges. Clothing is the biggest problem – so many size variations but if you order 2 sizes to compare you’re hit with double P&P plus the cost of returning at least one garment or even both. They need to offer some kind of free return for clothing.
I have shopped with them since the beginning and on the whole I’ve been satisfied, some of the presenters get on my nerves, have to turn the sound off for Alison or Anne Dawson, their voices just grate.
Have always received excellant service, call centre staff are always polite and friendly.
Usually had great service from QVC BUT……just received a Kipling bag that had sold out & was a ‘waitlist’ only to find someones shopping list in one of the front pockets……this has made me think twice about ordering again, if I wanted used goods I would have gone to a charity shop or car boot sale!!!!
Have shopped with QVC for over 10 years now. Have really went down hill. They lost so many good brands (Molton Brown)!. Very repetetive shows, same old product. The P&P is very outdated – why no combined postage rate on a multi order? However the uk based customer service is very good.
Have been purchasing from QVC for about 11 years now. Plus is definitely the ability to actually try out a product and the 30 day money back guarantee. However P & P is excessive on some items. Have also found Quality Control has been an issue sometimes, however when I have had a problem on most occasions Customer Service has been very good. Do think that the contents of some of the shows are repetitive ie Technology and DIY. Certinaly not as good as it was.
compared to other shopping channels QVC’s p& p is better. Without naming them – £7.99 not forgetting the price of the phone call, then you have to pay £7.99 recorded delivery to send anything back. you cannot wear or use goods either.
QVC service is brilliant. I receive my parcels promptly in about three days and love the products I choose. Yes it is annoying sometimes when having to pay multiple p&p but its a convenient way of shopping for me. I very rarely have a problem but when I do Customer Services is super efficient, polite and very helpful and I cannot fault them.
QVC is great for skincare and beauty – salon and spa brands at a fraction of the price when bought in kits. They also have good deals on handbags, candles, some electricals and exclusives on items such as teddy bears.
However, lots of other products, eg food, plants, craft, toys, kitchenware, can be bought much cheaper elsewhere. Also the p&p often makes products over priced so you really need to do some research before buying.
QVC’s p&p charges are way too high. They insist on sending every item separately and won’t combine all items bought in the one mailing. I am presently waiting 6 weeks for an item to be delivered which means they have had the use of my money for that time. If it doesn’t arrive it means I have to fill in a form, post it back and then wait some time for the reimbursement.
As many of the others have said its the p+p that let QVC down. Number 1 tv retailler? ha yes their quality is brilliant and some prices can be good, if you went to a normal store on the high street, double maybe triple for certain items , such as 3 piece sets of makeup or 4 yankee candle large jars lol But their p+p is outrageous, £6 on little sheets of card you can fit in a enevelope on their crafts? thats madness, most online stores charge about £3 max even if your buying 30+ items so..
