Godalming
Love this store, & many items cheaper than sainsburys. Low staff turnover, managers always visible and observing, attentive staff, shelves well stocked, no errors on tills & pleasant layout and facilities. Hands down winner over the other supermarkets – as others find too.
Stores are clean, bright and most staff are friendly particularly female staff. A recent visit to Surbiton branch left me frustrated. I approached 3 young male staff for help and I received comments like ‘it’s out of stock’ though price tag had not been removed and gap filled with another item (confusing). And when I wanted clarification of an offer that was advertised I got a blank look and words like ‘I think…’ I’m not sure…’ were used. There was no iniative to find out. Aghhh!
Marlow Branch, Buckinghamshire – Outstanding customer service as always in the Marlow store. They really do go the extra mile to help you out and make your food shop a little less of a chore.
I shop at the South Harrow branch of Waitrose (having previously shopped at Tesco) simply because I find it a much more pleasurable experience. Their wide aisles, attractive displays and high quality produce is second to none and worth a few extra pennies. In fact I really dont find them much more expensive than anywhere else! Service is always exscellent and they go out of their way to assist customers. Only stopped short of five stars because their restocking of shelves isnt great.
Alcester. Staff really polite and the most helpful I have ever found in a supermarket, I have yet to find any which were anything but great. Nice products in store too with one or two things that you will not find in most supermarkets. Prices not too dissimilar to Tesco but the service is light years ahead so get my custom wherever possible.
